What are Battery Powered Heated Gloves and Heated Glove Liners?

Battery powered Heated Gloves are the best way to keep your hands warm.  Almost all heated gloves are battery powered and rechargeable with an easy to use power button to turn the gloves on or off, or adjust the the heat for to the perfect temperature.

How do Heated Gloves Work?

Heated gloves come in a variety of sizes and types but they all essentially work the same way.  Tiny wires are woven into the inside of the glove and a battery is connected to those wires. They typically have a battery dedicated to each glove that connects directly into the glove and fits in a pocket on the outside of the glove.

When the battery is turned on, and electrical current is passed through those wires and heat up.  The heat generated depends on the amount of current the battery passes to the wire, which depends on the battery setting.  By adjusting the battery you can adjust the temperature inside your gloves!  Perfectly control the temperature of your hands... ahhhhhh now that's livin!

Are Heated Gloves Safe?

You get the benefits now but you are probably thinking, this sounds... dangerous?  Let me put your mind to rest here, our anseris heated gloves are extremely safe and more importantly they are EXTREMELY effective.

First off, you are probably wondering if there is a risk for an electrical shock. The answer is no, in fact if you were to touch the bare wire you won't even feel a thing.

OK, so now you are probably wondering if they will catch on fire. (If not I'm sure you are now). Luckily, The answer is another no.  The batteries have safety features built in to shut them down in case of a short circuit, but more importantly the battery isn't capable of bringing the fabrics to their flash point temperature (the point at which it would catch fire).

How much do Heated Gloves Cost?

Oddly, heated gloves and glove liners range in price from anywhere between $20 and $500.  Good heated gloves will cost anywhere from $100 to $200. Stick in this range and you will most likely get everything you hope for.

With heated apparel, you pay for what you get.  And as general rule of thumb, heated gloves under $129 will not warm the fingers only the top of the hand. Heated gloves over $129 will heat the hand and the fingers.
